Sam Jones serves as a Senior Wealth Advisor and Principal at AlphaCore Wealth Advisory, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in serving high-net-worth clients.

Prior to joining AlphaCore in 2024, Sam succeeded his father as President of Robert E. Jones and Associates, Inc., which he rebranded as All Season Financial Advisors in 2001. Under his leadership, the firm transformed from a boutique asset management company with two employees into a fully comprehensive wealth management firm employing four full-time staff.

During his time as President of All Season Financial Advisors, Sam oversaw the firm’s entire suite of investment options for clients, including portfolio design and management, the selection of external managers, due diligence, and the oversight of all product offerings. He also played a vital role in asset allocation among investment options and conducted performance reviews, ensuring integration with professional wealth management partners.

A registered representative with the SEC since 1994, Sam is a past president of the National Association of Active Investment Managers (NAAIM), a leading association of active money managers. He has a keen interest in renewable energy and socially responsible investing, earning a vocational certificate as an Energy Master from the CSU Extension in 2014. He frequently speaks on the economics of progressive energy and currently serves on the finance committee for the Yampa Valley Community Foundation, as well as being President of the Steamboat Education Fund.
Sam’s insights have been featured in esteemed publications such as Barron’s, The Wall Street Journal, and Investment News. He has also participated in local investment panels as a technical analysis expert and is accredited by the Financial Planning Association to teach technical analysis for CFP continuing education credits.

Residing in Steamboat Springs, CO, Sam enjoys family life with his wife and two sons, making regular trips to the Denver office to connect with clients, staff, and partners.
