Madeline Hume serves as a senior investment research analyst at AlphaCore Wealth Advisory. She is responsible for conducting investment due diligence, supporting the asset allocation process, and contributing to the firm’s broader research efforts. She also writes commentaries and research memos. Her coverage includes hedge funds, liquid alternatives, and traditional strategies.

Prior to joining AlphaCore in 2023, Ms. Hume spent six and a half years at Morningstar, a financial research and data provider. In her most recent role, she was responsible for authoring thought leadership and crafting methodologies on new and emerging investments. She also previously served as a manager research analyst, covering a variety of managed investments including multi-asset and alternative strategies. She received her CFA® charter in 2021.

A Chicago transplant, Ms. Hume is passionate about serving her local community through philanthropic efforts. In her free time, she loves traveling, skiing, live music, and literature.
