As a Managing Partner at AlphaCore Wealth Advisory, Trevor brings extensive experience in wealth management and strategic planning, playing a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and client service model. Trevor oversees the firm’s growth initiatives, driving operational excellence and cultivating a client-first culture. With a strong background in wealth management, Trevor’s leadership is integral to AlphaCore’s commitment to providing customized, comprehensive financial solutions for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Prior to joining AlphaCore, Trevor was a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Callan Capital. Trevor also spent 13 years at Merrill Lynch, where he was the first advisor in San Diego to represent the Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group (PBIG), which focuses on clients with liquid assets exceeding $10 million. His financial advisory career began in 1992 with Shearson Lehman Brothers.
Trevor holds a B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University and has earned both the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation from the Wharton School and the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Outside of his professional work, Trevor is passionate about philanthropy. He co-founded the Equinox Center, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting environmentally sustainable practices in San Diego, and the PEERS Network, a philanthropic group of young entrepreneurs that has raised over $1 million for charity since 2009. Trevor has also served on the boards of San Diego Social Venture Partners and the La Jolla Music Society. Trevor lives in La Jolla with his wife, Tanica, and their children, Jade and Smith.
